Anders is new here at BARCS, and we're still getting to know him-but it's already clear that he's a total sweetheart with so much love to give! Friendly and affectionate, Anders loves to engage with his people and thrives on attention. While he can be a little jumpy at times, but it's always in a harmless, happy way-and he has a solid "sit" to help channel that excitement. In fact, he'll often sit automatically when he sees you have a treat, showing just how eager he is to please!
Anders is a loose, social, easygoing guy who absolutely adores lap time. When you sit down, he's quick to plop his front paws on your lap and chill there contentedly, soaking up every pet and cuddle, even rubbing his head into you for more affection (and sneaking in a few sweet kisses). He shows some interest in playing fetch, trotting after the ball when thrown, though it seems like it's still a new game for him.
Anders has met other dogs at the shelter, he is a rowdy player who can be pushy with his friends. He will need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match. He is eligible to come back to BARCS for social sessions.
