Meet Echeveria! We're already smitten with her friendly, joyful spirit! This sweet girl is super friendly, happy, and full of bubbly energy. She comes right over for easy leashing and walks nicely overall, though she can get a bit hoppy when she's excited - usually because she's so thrilled to be close to you!
Echeveria absolutely loves attention and will try to get as close as possible, showering you with kisses and affection. She adores full-body pets and will happily climb right into your lap if you let her. She also knows "sit" and is very treat motivated, making her a fun and eager companion for continued training. At about 40 pounds, she's the perfect medium-sized buddy to join you on all of life's adventures - or to snuggle up for some love-filled lap time.
She recently enjoyed a Dog's Day Out-and made it clear she's ready for a family of her own. Before even leaving the shelter parking lot, she leaned in for 15 solid minutes of cuddles. In the car, she was calm and sweet, always keeping a paw on her adventure buddy's leg just to stay close. She walks beautifully on leash, is easily redirected from distractions, and never barked or whined once. After a stroll and a frozen treat at the snowball stand, she soaked up more cuddles and gave lots of kisses. She even explored a garden center, happily sniffing every corner with a wagging tail. Echeveria is treat-motivated, knows "sit," and is working on "down." She's around 40 pounds, affectionate, quiet, and wants nothing more than to be near her people.
Echeveria would prefer to be the only dog in her future home.
