Meet Cody-a shining example of resilience, sweetness, and quiet strength. He is showing us just how incredible he is. After recently undergoing a back leg amputation, this 10-month-old pup hasn't let anything slow him down. He's walking well, full of determination, and clearly ready to enjoy life to the fullest.
Though a bit shy at first, Cody leashes up easily and has already impressed us with how well he moves on his walks. When you kneel down, he comes right over for gentle pets and chooses to stay close, even when he's still feeling a little unsure. Once he relaxes, he truly shines-his tail starts wagging, he leans in for affection, and he eagerly takes treats from your hand with soft eyes and a tender heart.
Cody is also social and gentle with other dogs, and he's eligible to return to BARCS for doggie social sessions to continue building his confidence.
Sweet, brave, and full of potential, Cody is a puppy who's just looking for a loving home-whether for foster or forever-where he can recover, grow, and be cherished. We can't wait to learn even more about this special boy as he continues to open up and show the world just how wonderful he is.
