He also had an opportunity to play with a friend's dog recently and absolutely lit up with happiness - he's playful, good-natured, and genuinely enjoys canine company. This boy is also smart, curious, and engaged with the world around him. He already knows the cue "touch," showing an eagerness to learn and a willingness to work with his person. Woohoo thrives when given enrichment and activities that keep his mind busy. He enjoys stuffed Kongs and Toppls, loves having a variety of things to chew on, and has a hilarious passion for ripping up old cardboard boxes - it's one of his favorite ways to entertain himself, and he does it with goofy, tail-wagging enthusiasm. His combination of intelligence, playfulness, and a touch of silliness makes him incredibly endearing and a joy to have around.
On leash, Woohoo is energetic and enthusiastic, showing his zest for life and his excitement about the world. His foster has noticed that he pulls a bit more when wearing a harness and does somewhat better on a collar, and they plan to introduce a gentle leader to help make his walks even smoother. He's very curious about other dogs they encounter and often shows interest in greeting them, which fits right in with his social, friendly nature. With continued practice and consistency, he'll only get better at channeling that enthusiasm into structured, enjoyable walks.
More than anything, Woohoo is a deeply affectionate, people-oriented dog who just wants to be close to the humans he loves. His tenderness, goofy charm, and constant desire for connection make him an incredibly rewarding companion. He has so much love to give and lights up when he's with people who appreciate his gentle spirit and playful, loving personality.
