Meet Lucy - The Snuggly, Silly Sweetheart
Lucy is a young pup (currently 34 pounds and still growing!) who's just starting to discover the world around her. She's a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into the bounciest, snuggliest love bug you've ever met. Full of face kisses, tail wags, and a love for life, Lucy is the kind of pup who'll melt into your arms and steal your heart.
Lucy has been impressing everyone with her gentle, loving nature - especially with kids. She recently attended an adoption event and quickly became a favorite for her sweet, calm demeanor. She may take a few moments to warm up, but with some treats and patience (both of which she loves!), she'll be nuzzling up to you in no time.
Lucy is currently in a foster home where she's working hard on all the things that come with puppyhood. She's making progress with potty training, crate training, and learning not to nip when she gets excited. She's very treat-motivated, which makes her a quick study, but she'll need a family that's committed to continuing her training with patience and consistency.
She has a ton of puppy energy and loves to play - even if she's still figuring out how "fetch" works (she's got the chase part down, but is still working on bringing it back!). She's still learning how to enjoy toys for more than a few moments, but she's eager to please and responds well to redirection and structure.
Lucy is also a calm and quiet car companion, making her a great sidekick for road trips or vet visits. She'll need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure it's a good match, but her loving nature suggests she could do well with a respectful canine friend and continued guidance.
