Meet Marren!
Marren is a petite, gentle soul who prefers to take things at her own pace. She may be a bit unsure at first, but given time and patience, her polite, quiet charm will win anyone over. Marren walks nicely on the leash and doesn't seem bothered by other dogs, making her a pleasant walking companion. She weighs 46 pounds. Marren is an independent lady who isn't too interested in treats-she'd rather take in the world around her calmly and on her own terms.
Marren had a wonderful overnight with her volunteer friend, and made quite the impression as a sweet, easy-going houseguest. She hopped right into the SUV with no hesitation. Once home, she went for a stroll where she took in all the sights and smells-especially the flowers-and even seemed to want to say hello at every house she passed. She noticed a few dogs across the street but remained calm, simply glancing their way. Back at the house, Marren explored the backyard before heading inside to check out the "Doggie Hotel." She wasn't too interested in toys, but she sure knows how to charm her people. Marren absolutely adores her foster dad, giving him an extra tail wag every time he walks by. She even showed off her "sit" right away-such a good girl! She's a gentle, attentive pup who travels well, walks beautifully on the leash, and settles in easily. And chicken grillers are definitely the way to her heart! Marren has proven to be an excellent house guest! She was housebroken and slept in the crate all night. She also had very good house manners and didn't get into anything that she shouldn't. She is a great work from home buddy! She is a low key and wonderful pup!
Marren can be selective with her friends and does best with gentle dog pals.
If you're looking for a low-key, steady friend to share peaceful moments with, Marren might just be your perfect match. Marren is in the comfort of a foster home, please email dogfosters@barcs.org to be connected with her foster family.
