Meet Carla - a one-of-a-kind sweetheart with a heart as beautiful as her unique, striking coat. At 6 years young and 51 pounds, Carla is a calm, gentle soul who has blossomed since arriving at BARCS as a stray. Now thriving in a loving foster home, Carla has shed all her nerves and greets each day with a wagging tail, a megawatt smile, and her favorite toy-"Pig Pig"-never far from her side.
Her foster reports that Carla is the sweetest girl who loves to snuggle and soak up affection. She's especially content when lounging close to her people or trotting around with Pig Pig in tow. Carla has also shown great house manners-she's been respectful indoors and seems to be housebroken. Her quiet, easygoing nature makes her a joy to have around the home.
Carla may come off a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her affectionate and loyal personality shines through. She enjoys peaceful moments in the yard and leisurely strolls, where she can sniff, explore, and unwind from the hustle and bustle of life.
This resilient girl carries herself with a calm, wise presence-her puppy days may be behind her, but she still has a playful spark and lots of love to give. She's also made some dog friends at BARCS and has done best with gentle, respectful canine companions.
