Meet Antonio (a.k.a. Frankie!) This sweet and gentle boy has been thriving in his foster home and his personality continues to blossom. After being found severely underweight, Frankie is finally getting the love and care he deserves-and he's making the most of it. Frankie is smart, affectionate, and eager to please-especially when food is involved. He already knows "sit" and is working on "wait," picking things up quickly thanks to his love of treats. While he's still learning how to play with other dogs, he's definitely sweet and curious around them. He's also indifferent to cats and tends to mind his own business.
He's a dream in the car, curling up and falling asleep with no fuss. He's crate-trained and does well overnight, and he's even cooperative during bath time and nail trims. Frankie is also mostly potty trained; he's had a few accidents in the house, though his foster family suspects this may be due to a recent switch in food upsetting his stomach.
Frankie is still adjusting to being left alone, so he'd do best with a family who can provide consistency and support as he builds confidence.
This boy has been through a lot, but his gentle nature and sweet spirit shine through every day. Antonio (Frankie) is destined for a wonderful forever home where he can continue to grow, feel safe, and be loved.
