Cody is new to BARCS, and we're still getting to know him-but he's already showing us just how incredible he is. Recently, Cody had a back leg amputation, but that hasn't slowed him down one bit! He's walking well, full of determination, and clearly ready to enjoy life to the fullest. Though a bit shy at first, Cody leashes up easily and has impressed us with how well he moves on his walks already. When you kneel down, he comes right over to accept gentle pets and chooses to stay close, even if he is little nervous at times. Once Cody relaxes, he truly shines-his tail wagging, happily soaking up all the affection and eagerly taking treats from your hand.
Cody is a social gentle boy with his dog pals, and he is eligible to come back to BARCS for social sessions.
Sweet, brave, and resilient, Cody is a shining example of a dog who just wants love and a fresh start. We can't wait to learn even more about this special boy as he continues to open up. Come to BARCS to meet Cody!
