Andromeda is a sweet, sensitive girl who's taking her time getting used to her new surroundings. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she'll quietly approach for gentle pets and affection. She enjoys her walks, taking in the world at her own pace, and has been calm and easy to handle with staff and volunteers. She appears to be housebroken here at the shelter and seems to thrive with people who are patient and kind-she truly appreciates a gentle approach and a calm presence. She has been learning how to play with toys and loves them, especially squeaky toys. She enjoys playing fetch and can also entertain herself, it is really fun to watch this sweet timid girl coming out of her shell.
Andromeda has also met other dog pals at BARCS and does best with tolerant, easygoing companions. She's not one to jump into rough play, but she's happy to coexist peacefully and enjoys the quiet company of other dogs.
