Meet Sparrow! This handsome, sweet boy may be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly and has so much love to give. His finder described him as friendly and gentle, and he did great during his car ride to BARCS.
At the shelter, Sparrow walks pretty well on leash-he can pull occasionally, but he's easily redirected and eager to stay close. He's not reactive to other dogs or people and takes in his surroundings with calm curiosity. Sparrow already knows "sit" and is happy to show off his manners, especially if there's a treat involved! He also appears housetrained at the shelter.
One of his most endearing qualities? He'll gently rest his head in your hand or even give a soft hug, soaking up every bit of affection. If you're looking for a quiet, kind-hearted companion, Sparrow could be the perfect match.
Sparrow's foster reports that he is a charming, cuddly, and attentive companion who's ready to find his forever home. He's a total sweetheart who loves rubs, snacks, and being close to his people-whether that means following you into the kitchen or curling up on the sofa beside you.
This sociable boy is friendly with new people, enjoys car rides, and has excellent manners on the road. Sparrow has recently discovered the joys of soft furniture and is all about cozy cuddles and being part of the family action.
With his affectionate nature and easygoing personality, Sparrow would make a wonderful addition to a loving home.
