Meet Mummy, an 18-month-old pup who's as sweet as he is well-mannered. Mummy is a gentle, affectionate dog who's been thriving in his foster home and is ready to bring his calm, loving energy to a forever family.
Mummy has done wonderfully with children-no jumping, just happy tail wags and quiet companionship. He's also been a polite playmate with dogs of all sizes and has shown himself to be respectful of cats, offering a curious sniff before moving along. This easygoing nature makes him a great fit for many types of homes.
He's housebroken, crate trained (especially if a treat is involved), and incredibly quiet-his foster family has only heard him bark twice. Mummy walks beautifully on leash and regularly checks in with his person, making him a wonderful walking or even jogging partner. He's playful without being hyper, calm without being shy, and affectionate without being pushy.
At the shelter, Mummy was a joy during outings. He happily chased toys, climbed the agility ramp, and hopped up on benches to pose for treats and attention. He's very food-motivated and takes treats gently, even if he gets excited at first. He was easy to leash up, easy to return, and overall a standout companion.
Mummy is currently living in a foster home with kids and has been doing well. He's also met other dog pals at BARCS and enjoys friendly, bouncy play. Though he may be a little nervous at first, his sweet personality comes through quickly once he feels safe.
