Don't let her senior status fool you-Parsley insists on a brisk 45-minute walk every morning at 6 a.m., then rewards herself with breakfast and an impressive eight-hour nap. She's got just the right balance of pep and chill, making her the ultimate low-maintenance companion.
Parsley is fully housebroken, reliably alerts when she needs to go out, and is perfectly content relaxing at home alone if you need to step out (after a week of settling in, her foster felt confident leaving her solo). She gets along well with people and dogs, enjoys her daily massages, and absolutely *lives* for cuddles.
Out and about, Parsley is a dream on leash-calm, connected, and always ready to check in with a tail wag or gentle lean. She knows basic cues, is food-motivated, and has a real talent for catching treats mid-air. Whether she's trotting through the neighborhood or soaking up affection on the couch, she brings joy and ease to every moment.
At the shelter, Parsley showed playful interest in other dogs-particularly males-and could be a good fit with another pup following a successful meet and greet. She's also eligible to return to BARCS for staff-supported dog social sessions.
