The shelter named me Brenda, but my foster mom always jokes that my name should have been Velcro because I just love to be at her side. I can be slow to warm up but, once I know you're a safe person that loves me, I will start purring as soon as you walk into the room! My foster mom says that out of all her personal cats and foster cats, I am the sweetest! Even when I had to wear the cone of shame after I was spayed (embarrassing pic included), I kept my sweet and happy personality! I love to get pets pretty much everywhere and am very sweet and loving. I'm an expert biscuit maker and enjoy making appearances when my foster mom has Zoom meetings - she tells me I'm always a big hit! I also enjoy chasing toys and relaxing by the window.
The only other animals in my foster home were my kittens, and 3 of them have been adopted already. It's just me and my little boy, Marty McFly, that are still looking for our furever homes (pic of us together included). We can be adopted together or separately. I am an excellent mama and took wonderful care of my babies.
While I enjoy playing, I also really like just hanging out near people who will give me pets or just let me sit near them. I'm a quiet and tidy lady who takes good care of myself and I don't make a mess. I love wet food and get very excited on special occasions when I can have a treat! My foster home is in Baltimore City, so I've gotten used to the sounds outside and, if I'm in the window, you'll always know when I see a dog or cat, because I'll give a low growl. I just want to make sure my humans are safe!
I'm looking for a home that will be patient while I get acclimated and understand that I am in a safe place. Then I just ask that you love me as much as I am going to love you!
If you are interested in meeting me, submit an online foster adoption application or email catfosters@barcs.org to get in touch with my foster family!
