Nina Ballerina is a remarkable dog who is ready to find her forever home. At 8 years young, she embodies the perfect blend of playfulness, affection, and calm demeanor, making her a wonderful addition to any family.

Nina has been living with her permanent foster, who has two resident dogs that she gets along beautifully with. She's comfortable with both younger, playful dogs and older, quieter companions, adapting her behavior to fit their energy levels. While she was a little shy at first, with proper introductions, she quickly became part of the pack.

While Nina sleeps in a kennel overnight at her permanent foster home, she proved to be just as content sleeping on a cozy dog bed next to the bed at her temporary foster's home. She's respectful and doesn't climb onto furniture without permission, making her adaptable to different home environments. Nina enjoys cooling off in the dog pool and is not afraid of water. She'll happily splash around on a hot day!

Nina has shown that she's an ideal partner for outings to breweries, vineyards, and restaurants. She calmly sits at the table, watches the world go by, and greets people who approach her with a wagging tail. She doesn't pull or react to other dogs, behaving as if she's had plenty of experience in social settings-perhaps from her previous life.

Nina is fully housebroken and hasn't had a single accident in her foster home. She's also kennel trained but is equally happy sleeping outside of the kennel if that's what her new family prefers. Nina has excellent loose leash manners. She walks beautifully, barely reacting to other dogs, and shows only mild interest in neighborhood cats or squirrels, easily redirected with a quick "leave it". Nina knows all the basic commands, including sit, stay, and has excellent recall. She's incredibly attentive to her handler, making her a dream to walk and train.

Nina is truly one of those rare, all-around amazing dogs. Whether you're an experienced dog owner or new to having a furry friend, she's the ideal companion. It's clear that her previous person spent a lot of time working with her in a loving manner, and it was probably heartbreaking for Nina to lose them. Now, she's so ready to have a new family to love.

Her fosters have stated that if they could afford to keep a third dog and continue fostering to save lives, Nina would be the one they'd keep. She's the unicorn of dogs-gentle, playful, respectful to both humans and dogs alike, and she's ready to bring endless joy to her forever home.

Nina Ballerina is timid with her dog pals, and prefers gentle and polite playmates.
