Wesley is an absolutely gorgeous cat with a quiet, observant nature. He spent close to two years living in devasting conditions before coming to Nexus. Since arriving in his foster home, he has slowly adjusted and has been loving learning "how to be a cat" again. Wesley gets along well with all the other cats in the foster home and especially loves hanging out & playing with the other male cat.
He loves soft beds, birdwatching from the windows, exploring the house, and playing with just about any toy. He also enjoys knocking over trash cans when he's feeling curious. He uses a cardboard scratcher and likes having a quiet spot to retreat to when he needs a break.
When he first landed at Nexus, it took about three weeks for Wesley to allow his foster mom to pet him; his need to decompress was huge! Now he seeks out scratches & pets and is very affectionate and loving.
Wesley will need to be adopted directly from his foster home, as a busy store environment would be too overwhelming for him. He'll thrive in a home with someone patient and willing to let him move at his own pace. With time, he's shown he can become a loving, playful companion-and did we mention he's stunning?
Wesley's adoption fee is $100, and he is neutered, microchipped, negative for FeLV/FIV, has age-appropriate vaccines, and been given flea prevention.
