Meet Baby! At 1 year old, this 51 lb female Siberian Husky is a social young girl who is still getting comfortable with shelter life and showing us more of her personality each day. She greeted the other dogs at the gate and, while she entered the yard a little timidly, she allowed greetings and returned them with the helper dogs. She has a cautious side, but her willingness to engage is already starting to come through.
So far, she has spent time in a mostly female playgroup and has enjoyed a good game of chase, happily taking turns running back and forth with the other dogs. Since she is still fairly new to the shelter, she can be a little timid as she learns the routine and figures out her surroundings. With patience, consistency, and continued positive experiences, this sweet girl has plenty of potential to grow in confidence and become a wonderful companion.
