Meet Zoe! At 3 years old, this 65 lb female German Shepherd is a super sweet, loving girl who enjoys staying close to the people she trusts. When staff call the dogs together for a "pack walk," she often sticks right by their side. She already knows sit, shake, and down-or is very close-and is working on the advanced kennel routine. She also walks nicely on leash, showing that she has a great foundation of skills to build on.
She has been doing well in the yard and has spent time around dogs and puppies of different sizes. When she is feeling comfortable, she tries to engage in play and especially enjoys a good game of chase. She is also respectful about backing off when the other dog decides the game is over. She seems interested in connecting with other dogs and may simply need the right group to feel fully at ease. This affectionate girl is looking for a patient home that will give her the consistency, reassurance, and love she needs to truly settle in and thrive.
