Meet Mr. Wilde! At 1 year old, this 61.1 lb male Alaskan Husky is a handsome young boy with a gorgeous coat who has been taking his time getting comfortable in the shelter. With patience, he has started to become much more loose and wiggly when familiar staff enter his kennel. He now looks toward them, allows pets, and is becoming more comfortable with people getting close. Shelter life can be loud and overwhelming, so we are happy to see his confidence beginning to grow.
Staff also report that he walks very nicely on leash, giving him a great foundation for life outside the shelter. He may need a little extra time to fully open up, but with a patient and loving family, he has every opportunity to continue blossoming. This sweet boy is looking for someone willing to give him the security and reassurance he needs to prosper and show just how wonderful he can be.
