Meet Dorado!
Dorado is a wonderfully sweet 14-year-old gentleman who has won over everyone here at the shelter. He came to us with a significant hind-end wound and no tail due to an unknown injury, and while he also had to battle some anemia, he took it all in stride. Through every poke, prod and vet check, he's been nothing but friendly and appreciative of attention.
Now that he's healing well and feeling much more comfortable, Dorado is ready to find a calm, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years. His journey means he'll need an adopter with an established veterinarian who can continue monitoring his age-related needs and the remainder of his healing - but he's such a gentle, resilient guy that supporting him will come naturally.
