Poor Cheerios was abandoned at a dog park before being brought to the shelter. He is looking for an active, experienced home that can help him be his best self. Cheerios has done well with other social, similar sized dogs here at the shelter but his past is unknown. Cheerios can be anxious and very vocal when stressed so his is not recommended for apartment/condo living. At this time he would dog best in a home without small children as he is still learning his manners. He weighs 65 pounds.
Wandering Rover feedback: At first he was a bit anxious and hard to control on the leash. He pretty quickly settled in and obeyed commands like "wait" at traffic lights. He wanted everyone to pet him, but would move on quickly if they weren't interested. He generally obeyed simple commands like "sit" especially if it meant a treat!
