Saturday is a very special girl who deserves a home where she will live her life as a cherished family member. She loves all people and thinks that everybody is her friend. Saturday would love a family that will include her in their adventures. She is ready to go for a ride when you are and if the plan is just relaxing on the couch she is ready for that too. This girl just wants to belong.
We don't think that Saturday has had a lot of walks in her life because of the way she pulls when on leash. She will benefit from someone willing to teach her the correct way to walk on a leash. Saturday has recently learned proper potty manners and will need a patient family willing to continue with this while establishing a predictable routine. Saturday hasn't been reactive to other dogs while on walks, however, since we do not know her history with other dogs we are asking that she be the only dog in the home. Saturday will also need a feline free home. She would be fine with respectful children over 8 years of age.
Saturday recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. She was born with an elongated soft palate which prevented normal breathing. She had surgery to resection her soft palate, resection her nares and she is now, for the first time, able to enjoy breathing normally. She also had a benign mass removed. Saturday is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is 10 years old and weighs 61 pounds. Her adoption donation is $300.
Wandering Rover feedback: Saturday was very sweet and was just as happy in the car as she was outside. She was super sweet with the people who approached to say hello and give pets.
