Persimmon was found outside a Fry's grocery store -- hungry, underweight, and believed to be pregnant. Despite everything she had been through, she showed right away that she was never feral, just a sweet girl down on her luck and looking for kindness. She calmly rode home in the passenger seat like she already knew she was finally safe.
This lovable girl absolutely adores attention. Her wiry "tough girl" coat gets softer every day thanks to good food, warm beds, and love from our volunteers. Persimmon has a little bit of spicy street-cat attitude around other kitties at first, but she gets over herself quickly and settles in just fine. After surviving life outside and being a dedicated momma, Persimmon is more than ready for a soft place to land and a family to finally call her own.
