Meet Celeste!
Celeste is a roughly 2 Year old Shepherd and Terrier mix who arrived to the shelter on September 5th, as a transfer from VanBuren County. This pretty lady will melt your heart within minutes of asking for snuggles and attention. Who could say no to those big brown eyes? Celeste loves belly rubs, walks, and playing with toys. She's an expert at finding those pesky squeakers! A big softy who sometimes doesn't realize her own size, Celeste could use a bit of work on her manners as she occasionally jumps in search of kisses and head scratches. Though staff say she is awfully polite for a shelter dog! Celeste seems to do okay with some of the other dogs at the shelter. But if adopted into a home with multiple dogs, she would need to be monitored as she has shown some resource guarding tendencies toward other dogs in a home setting. Despite it all, Celeste is a big ball of love who can wiggle her way into anyone's heart! If you've got a little extra room on your couch for a furry cuddle buddy, stop in and meet Celeste!
