PENNY HAS BEEN WAITING SINCE JUNE.
At 9 years old, Penny should be spending her days sprawled across somebody's couch, not watching the sun set from her kennel month after month.
Penny is a senior Pit mix built like a brick house. She has reached the age where she has some definite, mature opinions about how life should operate-and frankly, she's earned them. A life living in a crowded home, the sudden passing of her senior owner.. It's time this senior get a cozy chapter.
Also, don't mistake "senior" for boring. This girls got plenty gas in the tank!

- Loves being close to her people
- Has successfully JUKED staff a time or two during playtime
- Not animal friendly, knows what she likes and isn't afraid to have opinions about it
- Equal parts sturdy old lady and affectionate couch companion
Penny isn't trying to pretend she's a puppy anymore. She's a grown woman. She has standards. She has preferences. She probably has thoughts about the thermostat. But she also has a wonderfully soft side, and once you experience the joy of having this giant snuggly land seal cozied up beside you, it's pretty hard not to fall for her.
She's been waiting since June. That's a long time for anyone-but especially for a 9-year-old dog who deserves to spend her senior years knowing exactly where she belongs.
