Panther
Panther just turned 11 years and 7 months old... and he's now spent over 6 months waiting in a shelter kennel.
Six months of concrete floors.
Six months of stress.
Six months of watching everyone else walk out the door.
And for a senior like Panther... that time hits differently. He is tired. Not in a dramatic way. Not in a "give up" way. But in the quiet, heavy way you only see in older dogs who don't understand why they're still here. He should be on a couch. He should be stretching out in the sun. He should be spending his days with someone who loves him.
Instead... he waits.
11.5 years old
80 lbs
House & crate trained
Older kids only
Needs to be the only pet
Senior joints - needs comfort, not concrete
Shelter life is not kind to senior dogs, and Panther is feeling it. Every day he stays here... it takes a little more out of him. We don't want his story to end here. We cannot let his story end here.
Panther doesn't need perfect. He doesn't need long hikes or a busy household. He just needs a place to land. A soft bed. A quiet home. Someone who will look at him and say, "You're safe now."
Please.
If you have ever thought about adopting... helping a senior...
This is the one.
If you can't adopt, consider sharing his post. Someone knows someone who can save Panther.
