Bella has a story that tugs at the heart.
Originally not a "rescue", Bella arrived for temporary foster care while her veteran owner sought treatment for PTSD in Texas. Sadly, her owner never returned, but Bella has continued to thrive. Bella is a medium-energy Beagle mix who's been able to fit in beautifully with any crowd. just to be sure they don't overwhelm her sweet
spirit.
* 1.5 years old, 40lbs
* She gets along with dogs of all sizes and especially loves a good game of chase with her canine friends. While she's not interested in toys, she lights up when it's time to play with the other dogs.
* Bella has a strong prey drive and would love to chase the bunnies that dart across our property, so a cat-free home is best.
* She walks wonderfully on leash and is respectful during vet visits, even though she can be a little shy around new people at first.
* During the day, she's content in a walk-in kennel and gets regular potty breaks.
She may bark a little when she knows you're home-just to let you know she's ready to be with her people. To be near YOU again. Bella is looking for a forever family that will give her the patience and love she deserves after a journey full of change. Can you give her a forever home?
