Hellooo Kauai and beyond! I'm Odie a 7-year-old velvet black Dutch Shepherd who is all about calm confidence and cuddles.
I can be a little slow to warm up outside the shelter, but once I settle in, I'm the perfect companion for adventures and snuggle time alike. I'm great on leash, love exploring trails (I sniff everything!), and enjoy stopping to "smell the roses." I handled new dogs and people beautifully on my field trips and stayed calm even in busy places like breweries and beaches.
I'm affectionate, gentle with treats, and love soft ear rubs and sitting close by. Toys? I enjoy a soft squeaky toy, but I'm more about connection than fetch. With a little patience and positive, cheerful training, I'll be a loyal, loving companion.
