Aloha, fellow dog lovers! I'm Max, a 6-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart full of aloha. I'm ready to find my forever ohana, and I'm hoping it's on the beautiful island of Kauai or on the mainland - wherever love takes me! I'm a sweet and smart girl who's all about chill vibes. I may take a little time to warm up to new people and places, but once I get to know you, I'll be your BFF for life. I'm curious, playful, and love to learn new tricks - especially if they involve treats! What I'm really looking for is a home with a big, secure yard where I can stretch my legs and run wild (or at least, run alongside my new best friend!). I get along great with keiki and other dogs, especially those who share my love for playtime and adventure. And let me tell you, cuddling is my new favorite thing - I'm still learning the ropes, but I'm totally hooked! Just a heads up: I'm not so chill around small animals other than dogs, though. "She is very shy at first and needs time to warm up but she is so gentle and sweet ;not to mention gorgeous). She's great with kids and loves other dogs (would do great with another dog in the family for her to follow). I've been taking her out every day that I can to work on socializing her and am now making it my mission to help her find her forever home now that both her sister and father (who were surrendered with her) have been adopted."
