Hi there, my name is Meatloaf, and I'm a 103-pound Terrier mix with a whole lot of love to give! I may be a big boy, but underneath all this size is an even bigger baby who just wants to be loved! I'm the kind of guy who will follow you everywhere you go because being near my people is my favorite place to be. If you sit down to relax, don't be surprised if I come plop myself right beside you to keep you company. I'm always looking for reassurance from my humans, and I absolutely love being showered with attention, sweet baby talk, and tasty treats! Oh, and did I mention that I'm a big fan of stealing kisses? Consider yourself warned because I have plenty of love to share! Being in the shelter has been pretty overwhelming for me, and I've been having a hard time settling in and feeling comfortable. I can be anxious and on edge here, often whining and panting because I'm struggling to relax in this busy environment. Having someone who is patient with me, offers reassurance, and helps me feel safe would mean the world to me. I have so much love in my heart, and I'm hoping to find someone who will help me feel secure and show me what it's like to truly belong. Now, let's talk about my size! At 103 pounds, I'm a BIG boy, and I need a family who understands what it means to live with a large, strong dog like me. Sometimes I forget just how big I am, and I can be a bit of a bulldozer when I get excited or want to be close to you! I might accidentally bump into you or knock you off balance, so my future family will need to be prepared to manage my strength and help me practice being mindful of my size. I'll need a home setting that can comfortably accommodate a dog as large as me, along with people who are ready to provide the space, care, exercise, and attention I need. The good news is that once I've had a chance to explore, stretch my legs, and burn off some energy, I'm happy to settle down and relax by your side. I'm an overall well-mannered boy who really just wants to be somebody's best friend. I don't need anything fancy to make me happy; a little patience, some yummy treats, plenty of affection, and a person who will remind me that everything is okay will go a long way. I may be a giant, but I'm truly just a big ole baby looking for his forever family! If you have room in your home and your heart for 103 pounds of kisses, companionship, and unconditional love, I hope you'll come meet me. I can't wait to find my person and finally have a place where I can relax, feel safe, and be loved just as much as I love you!

My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.

All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.

Happy Adopting!
