Hi there, I'm Stromboli, a 76-pound Terrier mix and a big ol' goofball with a personality that takes a little time to uncover! When I first meet someone or find myself in a new place, I can come across as very independent. I'm usually much more interested in exploring my surroundings and checking out everything around me than I am in immediately making friends. I may not show you much interest or reveal my silly side right away, but please don't take that personally! I just need some time to adjust, figure things out, and get comfortable with the people and environment around me. I'm a big, strong boy, so I'll need a home and family who understand my size and strength and can comfortably accommodate a big guy like me. What I really need is a patient and understanding family who is willing to put in the time to build a bond with me and help me continue working on my manners. Once I start to feel safe and comfortable, you'll see a completely different side of me! I can get incredibly goofy, bounce around, and even break out into some adorable zoomies. I've got plenty of spunk hiding underneath that independent exterior, and once I trust you, you'll get to see what a truly good boy I am. I may need a little extra time and patience compared to some dogs, but if you're willing to let me open up at my own pace, I think you'll discover a pretty special guy who has so much personality waiting to come out!
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
Happy Adopting!
