Hi, I'm Eleanor, a 63-pound Terrier mix, and I'm a very sweet girl who just needs a little time to feel comfortable and show you my true personality. I can be shy and nervous when I first meet new people, especially when there's a barrier between us, so I do best with calm, slow introductions where I can take my time checking you out. I can get spooked pretty easily, and when something scares me, my first instinct is to try to get away from it. I'm not always interested in treats or food, but a squeaky toy definitely catches my curiosity! Once I start feeling safe and comfortable, you'll discover that I absolutely LOVE butt scratches and full-body rubs. There is nothing better than getting some gentle affection from someone I trust! I'm a very, very sweet and lovable girl, and I have so much love to give to the person who is willing to be patient with me. I especially love being outside where I can explore, sniff around, and take in all the sights and smells around me. My dream family will understand that I may need some extra time and patience while I adjust and build my confidence, but I promise that giving me that time will be worth it. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
