Hi, I'm Capone, a 68-pound Terrier mix and a big gentle giant with an even bigger heart! I can be a little hesitant and cautious when I meet new people, so I'll need a little time to decide that you're one of my people. When we first meet, I'd really appreciate it if you let me come to you rather than bombarding me with attention. Once I feel safe and comfortable, my tremendously sweet personality starts to shine through. I absolutely love tasty treats, being told what a good boy I am, and getting plenty of love and affection from the people I trust. I may need some time to build my confidence, but underneath my cautious exterior is a wonderful boy who is just waiting to feel safe enough to show you how special I am. Because I'm a big and strong guy, my future family will need to understand my size and strength and be willing to continue working with me on my leash manners. I would benefit tremendously from a gentle, patient home that will give me the time, encouragement, and positive experiences I need to become more confident. I don't need to be rushed-I just need someone willing to meet me where I am and help me blossom at my own pace. Once I feel comfortable with you, I'll happily soak up the praise, treats, and affection! I have so much love to give and could be a truly wonderful companion for the family willing to take the time to earn my trust. XOXO, Capone
