Hi, I'm Jett! I'm a 48-pound Shepherd mix and an active girl who loves to explore and follow my nose wherever it takes me. Give me a squeaky toy and I'll be a happy girl, especially if we can play a good game of keep-away! When I first meet new people, I can be a little cautious and jumpy, especially around fast movements or loud sounds. I do best when everyone is sitting calmly and gives me the chance to come to them on my own terms. I may be a little hesitant at first, but once I have time to get comfortable with my surroundings and the people around me, I really start to blossom. I'm a tremendously sweet girl with so much potential, and I just need a patient, understanding family who will give me the time and encouragement I need to come out of my shell. I'd love for everyone in the home to meet me, and if there are young kids, it's important that they understand how to calmly and respectfully greet a nervous dog. With patience, kindness, and plenty of mental and physical enrichment, I think I could really flourish and show you just how special I am!
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
Happy Adopting!
