Hi, I'm Red, a 58-pound Terrier mix and a sweet older gentleman with a whole lot of love and life left to share! Don't let my age fool you-I still love being part of the action and would happily tag along on an adventure. One of my favorite things to do is grab a toy and proudly carry it around with me, and I'm also incredibly curious about the world around me. I want to sniff, investigate, and explore every little thing I come across! Most importantly, I absolutely love attention and affection, and I'll happily soak up as much love as you're willing to give. I'm a friendly, excitable boy who would be thrilled to spend my days by my family's side. As an older gentleman, I do have some allergies and seem to have some sore joints, so I'll need a family prepared to help me stay comfortable. I may need to remain on a fish-based diet and could potentially benefit from allergy and joint medications, so my future family should be ready to work with their veterinarian to keep me feeling my best. Moderate activity would be perfect for me-I'd love regular walks, gentle adventures, and opportunities to stay moving without overdoing it. I'd do best as the only animal in the home, and I previously lived with children and did great with them.
