Hi there! I'm Bug, a 65-pound Shepherd mix with a whole lot of energy, personality, and an even bigger smile! The best way to win me over is with a few tasty treats, a calm approach, and a little patience. Fast movements or reaching for me too quickly can make me nervous, so I appreciate people who let me come to them when I'm ready. Once I realize you're a friend, though, you'll get to see my goofy, adventurous side! I absolutely love getting head-to-tail scratches, and when I'm happy, my giant grin says it all. I'm a fun-loving guy who's always ready to make you laugh and brighten your day. I'm looking for an active family that can keep up with my adventurous spirit and give me plenty of exercise every single day. Walks, hikes, playtime, and outdoor adventures are exactly what I dream about! I don't do well in small spaces and wouldn't be happy spending lots of time in an apartment unless my family is committed to helping me burn off my energy with frequent outings. If I don't have enough room to move or enough activity, I can get restless, pace, and even become a little destructive. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
