Hi, I'm Nacho, a 100-pound Shepherd mix with a big body and an even bigger sensitive heart. I can be a bit anxious, especially in new or busy environments, but I really enjoy spending time outside where I can explore and calmly watch the world go by. Fresh air helps me feel more at ease, and I like having space to move around and take things in at my own pace. I know my name and absolutely love a good set of butt scratches - those are the quickest way to make my tail wag! I haven't shown much interest in toys yet, and I'm still letting my true personality come out as I get more comfortable. I'm more of an older, independent guy who enjoys doing things on my own terms and relaxing after I've had time to explore. Smaller living spaces can make me feel anxious, so apartment life may not be the best fit unless I can spend lots of time outside and join you on outings instead of staying indoors all day. I may bark when I notice something new, especially while I'm still adjusting, but with a calm and patient home, I'll start to feel more secure. What I really need is a family willing to give me time, understanding, and space to open up - and once I've explored enough, I'm perfectly happy to lie down nearby and just hang out with my people.
