Hi there, I'm Baby, a 47-pound Labrador Retriever mix with a heart that's just a little shy at first but overflowing with sweetness once you get to know me. I might come across as anxious or a bit awkward while I'm still finding my confidence, but kind words go a long way with me - especially when you tell me I'm a good boy and give me those magical butt scratches and behind-the-ear pets I love so much. If you take things slow and respect my space, I'll start to melt right into you, especially if you have a few tasty treats to help me along. When I'm feeling safe and happy, I'll even rub up against you like a little cat asking for attention, which always makes me feel extra loved and secure. Even though I can seem independent at first, once I warm up I really want to spend my time right by your side. I'm a well-mannered boy. When I'm truly comfortable, though, my playful side comes out and I'll bounce around and spin with excitement, showing you just how happy I am. I'm a sweet, loving Labrador Retriever mix who just needs a patient home willing to build a strong bond with me, and if you give me that chance, I promise to give you all the love my big heart can hold.
My adoption fee of $90+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
