Hi there! My name is Franklin, and I'm a 49-pound Terrier mix with a big heart, an even bigger love for snacks, and just a touch of goblin energy. I'm what you might call very food motivated-if you've got a treat, I'll sniff you head to toe until I find it! I know how to sit like a gentleman and will lock eyes with you (with my best puppy-dog stare, of course) to sweetly convince you to hand it over. I'll even cry a little to seal the deal-hey, it works! I love playing fetch with tennis balls, giving kisses in exchange for treats, and being around people. I'm a true social butterfly who lights up around new friends and enjoys every bit of love and attention I can get. While I've got some pretty good manners already, treats will definitely help with any training we want to work on together. I do get a little anxious when I'm left alone and might cry out if I can't see you-it's just because I love being close to my people so much. I'd thrive in a home where someone is around more often, and where we can go on fun adventures or just cuddle up for a good nap. Snuggles, affection, and maybe a few puzzle toys to keep my brain busy are the way to my heart. I'm a big ol' love bug looking for a family who wants a loyal companion and best friend-think we could be a match?
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
