Hi, I'm Tallahassee-a 51-pound Husky and Shepherd mix with a gentle soul and a heart that's just waiting for the right person to help it shine. The shelter environment is really overwhelming for me, so I tend to stay quiet and shut down, but underneath my nerves, I'm an incredibly sweet and loving girl. Once I start to feel safe, I'll slowly scooch in closer for cuddles, showing you just how much love I have to give. I'd thrive in a calm, quiet home with someone patient who will let me come out of my shell at my own pace. Being outside is where I feel most at ease, so a family with a yard where I can relax and decompress would mean the world to me. I'm a calm observer who prefers to take everything in from a comfy spot, and while you might not see my full personality in the shelter, I promise it's there-just waiting for a soft place to land and someone to believe in me.
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
