Hi there, I'm Jazmyn! I'm a 70-pound Terrier and German Shepherd mix with a whole lot of energy packed into me. Running is my absolute favorite thing in the world, and I truly need plenty of space and daily outlets to burn off my excitement. I'm not a great match for apartment living unless you're extremely active and always on the go, because if I don't get enough exercise and stimulation, I can get bored and a little destructive. I'm still working on my basic manners too-sometimes I get so excited that I'll take a running start and jump right up on you without realizing my size! I am extremely ball-driven and could play fetch all day long if you let me. I'll happily bring the ball back again and again, and I might even bark at you if you're taking too long to throw it. I can be rowdy and overwhelming at times, especially here in the shelter where I have extra pent-up energy, but underneath all that enthusiasm is a very sweet girl with so much love to give. Because of my size and excitement, I could accidentally knock over small kids, so I'd do best with sturdy humans who can keep up with me. With the right home, plenty of exercise, and some continued training, I promise I'll be an amazing companion who's absolutely worth the time and effort.
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
