Hi friends, I'm Luna-a 65-pound German Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a curious spirit. I'm a super sweet girl who enjoys exploring the world around me and doing my own thing, but I never turn down a good cuddle or some loving attention. I'm great at meeting new people and will often check in with a little drive-by kiss to let you know I'm thinking about you. I haven't fully shown my playful side just yet, but I'm still settling in and getting comfortable. I know my name, and once I feel safe, I love to follow you around and stick by your side like your own personal shadow. I'm a big, active girl who needs a family that can keep up with my energy and give me the space I need-no apartments for me, please, as I get anxious when confined. I'd thrive in a home that can offer me structure, patience, and plenty of time to adjust. I would also do best as the only animal in the home! Once I've had the chance to settle in, I know I'll blossom into the loyal, adventurous companion I'm meant to be. If you love the outdoors, I'd make an amazing hiking buddy and will happily stay by your side every step of the way. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I'll be your best friend for life.
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
