Hi, I'm Chicken Chunk, a 42-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix with a playful spirit and energy to spare! I'm always ready to zoom around, explore my surroundings, and see what everyone is up to. I'm a curious guy who likes to be in the middle of the action, and I love using my nose to investigate anything new. Sometimes unfamiliar things or loud, sudden noises can make me a little unsure, so I'll benefit from some confidence-building as I continue to learn that the world isn't so scary. I'm also a big foodie and absolutely love getting attention from my people, especially after I've burned off some of my energy. As a young Australian Cattle Dog mix, I'm an active, intelligent boy who will thrive in a home that understands my breed and can keep both my mind and body busy. When I get really excited, I may zoom around and jump up to say hello, so I'll benefit from continued training to help polish my manners. I'm very people-oriented and enjoy meeting new friends, and I'd love a family that enjoys hiking, exploring, and spending lots of time outdoors. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
