Hi, I'm Doug! I'm a 64-pound Labrador Retriever mix with a wild heart, a goofy grin, and energy for days. I'm the kind of guy who zooms around with my butt tucked, bulldozing through life with enthusiasm and joy. I absolutely love everyone I meet and always have a big old smile on my face-being happy is kind of my thing. I'm a total love bug and live for affection, cuddles, and being doted on. If you're looking for a fun-loving, happy-go-lucky companion who brings nonstop laughs, I'm your boy. Because I'm big, strong, and full of excitement, I might not be the best match for a home with small children-I don't mean to be too much, I just have a lot of me to give! I'm still working on my manners, but I aim to please and I love food, which means training should be a fun and rewarding experience for both of us. I need plenty of mental and physical stimulation to thrive, and I wouldn't be my happiest or most comfortable in an apartment setting. Give me space to run, things to learn, and lots of love, and I'll give you my whole heart in return.
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
Happy Adopting!
