Hi there, I'm Roxy, a 62-pound Labrador Retriever mix with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure. Life in the shelter has me feeling a bit nervous, so I'm shy and cautious when meeting new people. But give me a little time, and you'll see my sweet, affectionate side shine through. Once I feel safe and comfortable, I'm all about playtime, snuggles, and forming a strong bond with my person. I came to the shelter with my brother, Rocco, and while we don't need to be adopted together, I'd be happy to see him find a great home too. I'm looking for a family who will take things slow and help me build trust at my own pace-you'll be amazed at how much love I have to give once I warm up to you! I've got a fun and playful side that's just waiting to come out! I love chewing on toys, chasing birds, and exploring the world around me. Treats are a major favorite of mine, and I'll gladly work on my manners or learn some new tricks if there's a tasty reward involved. I dream of finding an active, patient family who's ready to take me on adventures and help me feel safe and secure. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who just needs a little time to come out of her shell, I'm your girl!
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
Happy Adopting!
