Hi, I'm Stella, a 64-pound German Shepherd and Heeler mix with a loyal heart and a personality all my own. I like to take my time getting to know people, and once I trust you, I'll form a wonderful bond that's truly special. I appreciate having my personal space respected, and I'm happiest when I'm allowed to come to you on my own terms. If someone gets too close to my face before I'm comfortable, I can become defensive, so I do best with people who understand my boundaries and let me interact at my own pace. I'm a smart girl who loves treats, and I'm always excited to show off the commands I already know in exchange for a tasty reward! When it's time to play, you'll quickly discover that fetch is one of my absolute favorite games-especially if my ball squeaks! I may not always bring it right back, but I'll often drop it nearby and eagerly wait for you to toss it again. I have lots of energy and would love an active home where I can enjoy walks, adventures, and plenty of playtime. Because I value my space, I'd do best in a home with children over the age of 10 who can respect my boundaries. If you're looking for a devoted, intelligent companion and are willing to take the time to understand me, you'll find a sweet, loving girl who's ready to be your loyal best friend for years to come.
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
Happy Adopting!
