Meet Honey, a lovely girl with a big heart and that wonderful pittie head we all know and love! ?? Although she came from a not-so-nice situation, Honey hasn't let her past take away her friendly and loving personality. She's a slightly smaller girl, but she still has all the charm and character that make pitties so special. Honey warms up nicely once she gets to know you and does well walking on a leash, making her a wonderful companion for strolls together. She's still working on her house skills and will appreciate a little patience and encouragement as she continues to learn.
Honey would do best in a quieter home with a medium activity level where she can feel safe, settle in, and enjoy life at her own pace. Because she can be fearful when first meeting new people, a home with children ages 10 and up is recommended to help her feel comfortable. Honey is microchipped and will be spayed soon, and she's hoping her next chapter will be filled with kindness, love, and a family she can finally call her own!
If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared -- bring a photo ID, proof of address, everyone resident in the home and if adopting a dog any other dog resident in the home along with their vaccination history. We are open daily from 10:30 - 5:30, no appointment is required.
