Meet Oskar, a handsome young adult Husky under two years old who is looking for a family to help him discover how wonderful life can be! Oskar came from a difficult situation alongside many other Huskies, and he is still learning what it means to be a dog and a beloved companion. He can be very scared at times, but he is slowly learning that human touch can be a good and comforting thing. Oskar walks pretty well on a leash and is continuing to work on his house skills as he adjusts to his new world. He will need a patient, understanding family willing to give him the time and encouragement he needs to build confidence and trust.
Oskar has so much potential, and with kindness, consistency, and love, he can continue to blossom into a wonderful companion. He is microchipped and will be neutered before adoption. Oskar needs someone special to help him learn about the world, discover the joy of human companionship, and finally experience the safe, loving home he deserves!
If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared -- bring a photo ID, proof of address, everyone resident in the home and if adopting a dog any other dog resident in the home along with their vaccination history. We are open daily from 10:30 - 5:30, no appointment is required.
