Miles is back and is more smiley than ever!
Mr. Smiley Miley has been in a very special board and train program for the past few months learning that new friends are not that scary. While Miles continues his training, we want to find him a family to continue his socialization and confidence building. Miles loves to connect with people but he is slow to trust. Once he knows you are safe, you'll have a best friend for life!
This goofy dude loves hikes in the woods, agility, lounging in the yard, invading your personal space for cuddles and kisses, and loves a good soft squeaky toy.
Miles requires a very special home, a dog experienced family is a must as Miles' behavior needs will be ongoing. Miles will require a mature household, over 21+ years of age. He has potential with well socialized relaxed dogs. Miles is fully housebroken and crate trained.
Dogs with special behavior needs are work, they require unconditional love and patience. We know finding a home may be tough but we also know Miles' family is out there. If you or someone you know is dog savvy and want to make a HUGE difference in a dog's life, send them over to chat with a CHS Staff Member to learn more about Miles!
Miles will remain in his board and train foster till his family is found, please submit an application to begin the process. We will require multiple meet and greets, a home visit training, and ongoing training with his board and train facility.

Notes from his Trainer!
"Here's my input on Smiley Miles!
Miles will benefit greatly from a dog savvy owner that can provide him with structure and a good routine. He does great with light to moderate exercise to keep his brain and body in good shape. He has been living with other dogs with proper introductions and appropriate dog to dog boundaries. I highly encourage any new adopter to continue with training classes at no extra cost to them to ensure the smoothest transition."
