Buddy is a handsome 4-year-old mixed-breed boy who's finally ready to find his forever home after spending most of his life here at the shelter. This sweet guy has been so patient, and now it's his turn to shine! Buddy is currently undergoing heartworm slow-kill treatment, and he's been a real trooper through it all. He'll need a family who can continue supporting him with love and care as he finishes his recovery. Buddy showed at a farm and was a happy boy even though he did not have a home. Buddy is very smart, loyal and loving. Buddy loves to fetch the ball and knows the command sit. He would do best as the only pet in the home - he loves having all the attention to himself! Because of his size and strength, Buddy would be best suited for a home with older kids (16+) who can match his energy and confidence. Buddy has so much love to give and can't wait to experience life beyond the shelter.
